What I did was to put two different songs in Channel 1 and 2. Then I use the sync to change the rate. After that, I started recording playing both songs, using the crossfader moving left and right to hear one song and the other one.
Axsell, you made very interesting selections here. Mixing these two songs is not easy, but you did a good job tackling the challenge! 10/10
